Davis Vintage Pro2 meteorological station produced in the United States is put into operation at the site of renewable energy sources (RES) of NURIS PI
Previously, the meteorological station was used in research projects in the field of RES in the period from 2010 to 2015, and after the equipment was put on hold due to faulty operation of the digital data interface. After the diagnosis and repair of electronic equipment components, as well as the installation of software updates by Anvar Kolumbetov, the engineer of the RES landfill, the meteorological station was re-introduced into a stable mode of operation.
In Nur Sultan there are no registered meteorological stations and our meteorological station will be the first registered on the international site with the ability to access data through a mobile application and the Internet.
The meteorological station
The meteorological station according to its functional characteristics monitors and measures such meteorological data as: temperature and relative humidity; wind speed and direction; precipitation; ultraviolet radiation index; and solar radiation power. Weatherlink 6.0.5 software is used to display weather data by way of charts and graphs in scalable time intervals, with the ability to record archives.
The installation site
The installation site of the meteorological station is the Shell Yurt site, as relevant weather data are necessary for adaptive and energy-efficient management of the processes of generation and consumption of electrical and thermal energy of the facility.
